I am currently retired and living in the Riviera Maya, Mexico. I have always been an agave spirits enthusiast but graduating from the Agave Spirits Institute as a diplomate, Master of Agave Spirits has allowed me to really up my game and establish credibility in the agave world.

Not to mention taking a deep dive into the beauty and culture of Mexico. Now I conduct mezcal tastings on the beach as a member of the Mezcal y Mole team! The program is very professional and the instructors are top notch! If you love agave spirits and want to take your game to the next level I highly recommend the ASI.

ASI has an amazing program! Here, you learn the proper knowledge and a deeper understanding of all agave spirits, Mexico’s spirits history and how to encourage sustainability. This program had me connect with my Mexican roots to another level! I have gained so much appreciation of the agave plant and its many varietals and was thrilled to plant baby agaves on the field whilst attending the Level 4 Diploma course in Oaxaca. I’m looking forward to being a part of the agave world and will continue my passion and training with agave spirits. I will inspire and promote sustainability and help keep ancestral mezcal traditions alive!

Thank you ASI for your training, knowledge and support! I’m excited for our future endeavors, Salud!

Agave Spirits Institute has helped me achieve my goals in a variety of ways. Just the networking during classes alone has allowed me to create meaningful industry connections.

All of the reading material is very nicely produced, well-researched, and contains a lot of valuable information that I didn't know. One of my favorite parts was doing the organoleptic evaluations from level to level. From these evaluations I have become a proficient taster and get a lot of compliments from clients during my tastings. Lastly, the Level 4 Masters course was a whole entire experience on its own. The entire trip to Oaxaca was amazing and it truly was an agave spirits enthusiasts dream come true.
